HackOnVibe invited me onto the judging panel for the 13–16 August edition. Track: Software Development & AI Product Engineering. Over 20 teams registered. Twelve submitted.
The brief was narrow: best practical code integration for promoting a newly created mobile app. Something a judge can actually check — a deep link, an SDK, a referral, attribution, tracking. A write-up of an idea does not count.
That is the kind of judging I like. You look at what runs.
The field was about growth plumbing more than pitch decks. Smart banners. Deferred deep links. Referral links with a dashboard. Store listing kits. A campaign created through a real ads API. Some of it was a clean widget you could drop on a site. Some of it was a wide toolbox that still needed a sharper edge.
Official results are up. Unbeatable (Dinh Phuc Thinh) took first on both tracks. Oleksandr Team (Oleksandr Deineko) came second on both. Third on Business Success was CSVOID (Chinmay Dattatray Shinde); third on World Impact was High 5 Hackers (Kanish Jeba Mathew M).
I turned in the scores after the event. The certificate arrived as soon as the work was done.
