I judged AITEX Summit Summer 2026
AITEX invited me to the judging panel for the Summer 2026 summit, From Ideas to Impact. The event itself ran online on 30–31 August. I turned in the scores after the event. The certificate arrived as soon as the work was in.
I was glad they asked.
The brief was the kind I like: look at things that run, not at a deck about an idea. Four tracks — health, sustainability, productivity, and an open lane — and a short list of questions. Is the idea doing something new? Would anyone actually use it? Is the build sound? Can it live after the weekend? Did they explain themselves clearly?
That is the job. You watch the demo, read what they wrote, score each part on its own, and write a few lines so the team understands why.
